Battery-Free Sacral Neuromodulation Clinical Trial
Dr. Jenelle Foote and the team at Midtown Urology are excited to announce that we are partnering with Neuspera in their clinical trial for battery-free sacral neuromodulation. This cutting edge treatment is similar to traditional sacral neuromodulation (SNM) by involving an electrode lead to stimulate the nerve responsible for communication to and from the bladder. However, it differs from traditional SNM in that there is no implanted battery and therefore no need for future replacement of a dying battery.
Being a part of this study involves undergoing various diagnostic tests, as well as a one-time procedure to place the electrode lead (this procedure is essentially identical to placing a traditional SNM electrode, of which Dr. Foote has placed well over 300+ times).
Due to the investigational nature of this trial, all visits, diagnostic exams, and procedures related to the trial are of no cost to you whatsoever.
